Love the look of a Vanity Vault desk but cannot decide between a glass top and a white top? The biggest difference is how you want your storage to look and how you plan to use the desk.
Where a vanity offers both finishes, choosing glass or white does not change its price. You can choose the look that suits your room and routine.
Glass is our most popular tabletop choice. It creates that iconic Vanity Vault style, with the contents of the drawers beneath visible through the surface. If you enjoy arranging your favourite makeup, jewellery and everyday essentials, the glass top makes that organisation part of your setup’s appearance.
It is a lovely option for a dedicated getting-ready space where you want your beauty collection on display. Think about what you will keep in the visible drawers: a glass surface means their contents remain part of the look, even when the drawers are closed.
A white top keeps the contents of the drawers beneath out of view. If you prefer an uninterrupted surface or want to put everyday items away without seeing them through the desktop, this finish may suit you better.
Many customers also choose white when their vanity doubles as a study desk. It lets the same space work for getting ready and studying, with beauty essentials tucked away below. Before choosing a desk for both uses, check its depth, seating opening and the space needed for your study items alongside a mirror.
| What Matters to You | Glass Top | White Top |
|---|---|---|
| Drawer Contents | Visible beneath the glass | Concealed beneath the white surface |
| Appearance | Our most popular signature vanity look | A clean white surface |

The Babyface Vanity, Mini Dollface Vanity and Mini Deluxe Vanity have glass and white top options. Select the finish on the product page and check its current availability. Not every vanity design offers both finishes.
The Babyface is 150cm wide and 50cm deep, while Mini Dollface and Mini Deluxe are each 120cm wide and 50cm deep. All three are 80cm high. Choosing the right desk size matters just as much as choosing the top.
A glass top does not automatically mean a vanity has drawer dividers. Dollface and Mini Dollface include removable dividers. These are not currently available to buy separately. Babyface does not include drawer dividers, so compare the storage layout of your preferred desk rather than choosing by the top alone.
Choose glass if you love the signature display-style finish. Choose white if you prefer concealed drawer contents or want the desk to work comfortably as part of a study space. We do not suggest choosing one finish on the assumption that it is more durable or easier to clean: follow the care instructions supplied for your selected product.
Check the complete product dimensions, what is included and the seating opening before ordering. In particular, ottomans do not fit beneath the Mini Dollface; Willow Curve and Sugar Cloud seats are recommended alternatives.
In-stock items have an estimated delivery timeframe of 7–14 business days. Vanity Vault delivers Australia-wide from its Melbourne warehouse. Delivery is to your front door at ground level; it does not include carrying items upstairs, bringing them inside or assembly. Rural and remote customers should contact us before ordering to confirm delivery availability and costs.
Check the selected variant carefully for pre-order notices. Pre-order arrival estimates can change because of delays outside our control, and the standard in-stock delivery timeframe does not apply while stock is still awaiting arrival. Read our delivery information or contact the team before ordering if you have questions.
Browse our makeup vanity desks to compare finishes, or choose a vanity package and review its listed desk, mirror and seating inclusions.
Vanity Vault’s warranty periods are one year for vanities and chairs, and two years for mirrors. Read our warranty policy for the full terms. Inspect your items before assembly or setup and contact the team if you find a fault; do not assemble a visibly faulty item while the issue is being assessed.
