A makeup mirror can change the whole look of your vanity, but size comes first. Measure your desk before choosing a mirror, then compare lighting, finish and the features you will use each day.

The main rule at Vanity Vault is simple: your mirror must not be wider than your vanity desk.

Match the Mirror Width to the Desk

A 110cm mirror fits beautifully on a 120cm vanity, leaving 5cm of desk width on either side when centred. The same mirror will not fit on a 100cm desk. A 150cm desk gives you more room around a 110cm mirror for everyday essentials.

Desk Width Mirror Sizing Advice
100cm Choose a mirror no wider than 100cm. A 110cm mirror will not fit.
120cm A 110cm mirror is a suitable width; smaller mirrors are also worth comparing.
150cm A 110cm mirror leaves more desk surface available. Any larger option must still stay within the desk width.

Width is only one measurement. Check mirror height, base depth, desk depth and the space around power points or shelves. Follow the product’s installation instructions when planning its position.

Compare Popular Vanity Vault Mirrors

Luna Luxe: 110cm Wide

The Luna Luxe Mirror is one of our bestselling mirrors. It measures 110cm wide by 80cm high and has 18 LED bulbs, adjustable brightness, three light colour settings and USB and Type-C ports. It suits a 120cm or 150cm desk by width.

Nova: 110cm Wide

The Nova Mirror also measures 110cm wide by 80cm high. Its LED strip lighting gives it a different appearance from the Luna Luxe’s bulb design, with adjustable brightness and three light settings. It is another option for 120cm and 150cm vanities.

Seraphina: A Smaller Mirror Option

The Seraphina Mirror listing gives dimensions of 80cm wide by 60cm high. It offers a more compact setup with adjustable brightness and three light settings. Check the exact product and finish you are ordering, as different editions should not be assumed to have identical measurements.

Brightness and Light Colour

All Vanity Vault mirrors have adjustable brightness. Most offer three light colour settings; Princess and Winter Whisper are the exceptions. If switching light colour is important to you, check the selected model’s features rather than assuming every mirror has the same controls.

All mirrors plug into power, so plan your setup close enough to a suitable power point. Adjust the brightness for your room and routine once the mirror is safely installed.

USB, Type-C and Bluetooth Features

USB and Type-C ports are available across the mirror range except the Diamond mirrors, Winter Whisper and Princess. Check the specific listing for the port details of your selected model.

Bluetooth is currently available on our bathroom mirrors, the Princess mirror, the 110cm Angel Magic mirror and the Angel Magic floor mirror. It is not a feature shared by every makeup mirror.

Desktop Setup and Wall Mounting

Vanity mirrors can sit on top of the desk. Attaching the base is required for all mirrors except Princess and Winter Whisper. Follow the supplied instructions and inspect the item before setup; if you find a fault, stop and contact our team.

Princess and Winter Whisper mirrors cannot be wall mounted. Other models can be wall mounted according to their installation instructions. Wall mounting should be planned around the mirror’s weight, suitable fixings and the wall itself; it does not remove the need to choose a proportionate setup.

Choose the Desk Before the Mirror

If you are starting from scratch, choose your vanity desk first, then compare makeup mirrors within its width. You can also explore vanity packages and check each set’s exact inclusions.

Delivery and Assembly: Plan Before You Order

In-stock items have an estimated delivery timeframe of 7–14 business days. Vanity Vault delivers Australia-wide from its Melbourne warehouse. Delivery is to your front door at ground level; it does not include carrying items upstairs, bringing them inside or assembly. Rural and remote customers should contact us before ordering to confirm delivery availability and costs.

Check the selected variant carefully for pre-order notices. Pre-order arrival estimates can change because of delays outside our control, and the standard in-stock delivery timeframe does not apply while stock is still awaiting arrival. Read our delivery information or contact the team before ordering if you have questions.

Warranty and Checking Your Delivery

Vanity Vault’s warranty periods are one year for vanities and chairs, and two years for mirrors. Read our warranty policy for the full terms. Inspect your items before assembly or setup and contact the team if you find a fault; do not assemble a visibly faulty item while the issue is being assessed.
